A view overlooking the pool area

From here, you can really see the theming of the pool - where the "spring" inside the lobby is made to look like it spills into the pool, how the edges of the pool are formed by the ebb and flow of the water, how the hot tubs are like hot springs and how the geyser (just beyond the hot tubs) fits into the whole geothermic fabric of the area.

This is a SPECTACULAR resort.

And yet, POFrench Quarter *still* sings to me more than any other resort.... ain't that weird?

    I dearly loved sitting right there and looking out at that view while the WL wakes up. And nursing that second cafe mocha from the Magic Coffee Machine! Thanks, Eileen.
